Client galleries for production
One project, one login. Your scout sits in the folders you built, your client browses it on a phone, and every like, note and download lands back in the project. No transfer to re-send on Monday.
14 days. No card. One live project, five client logins, 15 GB.
How it works
01
Drag the day's photos into categories and folders — Locations, Cast, Wardrobe. Or hand the scout a field upload link so the pictures land in the right folder from the car, on 4G, without an account.
02
Each client gets a username and a password for one project. Nothing public to forward, nothing to expire. You can limit a login to the categories that client is allowed to see, and revoke it the day the job wraps.
03
Likes and notes appear on the project as they happen, attached to the frame they belong to. Export the selection as one ZIP, with the folder structure intact, and send it to the DoP.
What is in it
Every plan includes notes, shoot documents and field upload links. Storage and the number of live projects are what change as you grow.
A project holds categories, a category holds folders, a folder holds frames. The client sees the structure you built, in the order you set.
A client can like one frame or a whole folder when the option works as a set. One tap on a phone, and the count is on your project before they leave the room.
“Second window, south side” sits on the photo it refers to, not in an email thread three days later. You read the note next to the picture.
Download exactly what the client liked — or a folder, or the whole project — as one archive, originals at full size, folders intact.
Call sheets, casting lists, recce PDFs and risk assessments attach to the project and open inside the gallery. One place, one login.
Send a scout a link that drops straight into one folder. No account, no app, expires on a date you set, and a dropped 4G connection resumes where it stopped.
Sessions per client login, time spent, the folders they came back to and the frames they opened most. Useful before the call, not after it.
Studio and upThe gallery is designed for a phone held in one hand on a location, then scales up to a monitor. Thumbnails are sized for a mobile connection.
Instead of a transfer link
They are good tools and most productions already pay for one. The gap is not speed, it is everything that happens after the files arrive.
A transfer or a shared drive
Scout Lane
The link expires in seven days. The job runs for six weeks, so you re-send it.
A login lasts as long as the project. You set the expiry, or none, and revoke it when you want.
Four hundred files land in one folder named SCOUT_FINAL_v3.
Categories and folders, ordered by you, with a cover frame on each one.
The answer comes back as screenshots, file numbers, or “the third one”.
Likes and notes are attached to the frame, and you read them in the project.
You cannot tell whether the director opened it before the meeting.
Sessions and time spent per login, so you know what has been seen.
Collecting the selection means reading a list and dragging files by hand.
The selection is one ZIP, generated on request, with the folders kept.
